In eLux NG, the user interface - the so-called "starter" - has been switched from Java-based to QT-based. Not only does this give your terminal a more modern look-and-feel, the streamlined starter also frees up space on the flash for your applications. To ease the transition for the customers, the basic structure - the division into Applications, Configuration and Setup areas - remains the same.
The task bar is no longer an optional component, but has been integrated into the interface. The eLux NG starter itself can be blended in and out, either locally or remotely using the Scout NG management tool! In addition, the user has one-click access to applications from the task bar.
