    There's trouble on Timber's Island in the hideous shape of Wizpig, an evil space swine. To combat this new menace, the island's inhabitants call on the Kong clan - Diddy, Dixie and Tiny Kong - to send the troublesome trotter back to the stars.

    Part kart racer, part adventure game, Diddy Kong Racing DS puts you in the driving seat of karts, hovercraft and airplanes as you explore the sprawling island to unlock hidden tracks and face off against colourful characters in high-octane competitions.

    Based on the Nintendo 64 classic, Diddy Kong Racing DS brings many brand new features including the ability to create your own courses simply by drawing them with the touch screen. Plus, Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection compatibility means you can race players across the world and even share your self-made courses with others!

    -Five different worlds to race through, each with four tracks, plus four additional tracks not seen in the Nintendo 64 version.

    -Control karts, hovercraft and airplanes which can all be upgraded in speed, durability, and appearance.

    -Race against up to seven players in local wireless (Single or Multi-Card play) or five people worldwide via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

    -Design your own tracks using the touch screen and race on them in single player and multiplayer modes.

    -Create your own player icon and customise trackside billboard artwork with the touch screen, and use the microphone to record your own sound effects.

    -Get a boost start by spinning a wheel or propeller on the touch screen (karts and planes) or by blowing into the microphone (hovercraft).

    -Fans of the N64 original can enjoy enhanced graphics, new playable characters, new secrets and classic modes hidden as unlockables.

    -Power-ups include oil slicks, gas clouds, land mines, super shields, speed boosts, homing missiles and magnets.
